“twitterature”

I read that two college sophomores got a book deal for a book to be called Twitterature: The World’s Greatest Books, Now Presented in Twenty Tweets or Less.  Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters, so these descriptions will be great for those who can’t plow through the Cliff’s Notes! The two students say that combining the classics with new technology “is the perfect remedy and counterbalance to the esoteric texts, which are still so vital to us — and to our GPA.”  The book is scheduled for release in the fall.
